Cookie policy
Last updated 5 September 2026
This page lists the cookies and similar storage MyOnlineInvoice uses. It should be read with the privacy policy.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We also use local storage and session storage for the same jobs: keeping you signed in, remembering which business is active, and stopping some abuse.
Essential (always on)
These are required for the product to work. They are not used for ads.
- Session / authentication — proves you are signed in, expires when the session ends or after a period of inactivity.
- CSRF / security — stops other sites from acting as you.
- Active business — remembers which workspace you last used if you belong to more than one.
- Cookie preference — if we ever show a banner, remembers your choice.
- Load balancing / hosting — short-lived cookies from the host so the site can reach the right server.
The public invoice page uses no advertising cookies. Opening a pay link does not enroll the customer in marketing.
Analytics (off unless enabled)
If the operator turns on aggregated analytics, we may set a cookie to tell unique visits from reloads. It does not follow you across other websites. You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser or, where a banner is shown, in that banner.
What we do not use
- Advertising pixels (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and similar) on the product screens.
- Cross-site remarketing lists.
- Fingerprinting for ads.
Third parties
Sign-in with Google or X, and payment pages (SumUp, Square, TrueLayer, Atoa, your bank), set their own cookies on their domains. Their policies apply there. We do not control them.
How to refuse
You can block cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies, you will not stay signed in. You can also use private browsing; you will have to sign in each time.
